Delivering the Dream

Interesting to see that Tony Manning has published a new book: Delivering the Dream. Instead of the usual corporate strategy thing he "provides a blue print" for getting effective service delivery in the public sector. Should be an interesting read – Tony's books usually are. I'll give it a review after reading it.

2006Hi Grant
I read Tony’s book some weeks ago. And as always he has managed to capture the essence of a topic in a simple, concise and to the point manner. It addresses some of the most significant governance gaps we face in the public sector in South Africa. I have a particular appreciation for the direct and open manner with which he challenges the status quo.The Governance Network was established to help address the competency gap in government governance. Tony’s book will make a significant contribution in helping to create an awareness of some of the more serious governance related challenges we are facing.
Read more about The Governance Network on its website soon.
